Trust Drum Circles Celebrates Summer Youth Enrichment Event in Douala, Cameroon
Douala, Cameroon — June 2026
Trust Drum Circles is proud to celebrate a successful youth enrichment event coordinated by Nkadmbi Chantal Allo in Douala, Cameroon.
The event brought together local children for a summer youth enrichment experience that combined drumming, interactive songs, and educational activities. The lessons promoted personal safety, healthy boundaries, emotional awareness, and positive decision-making in age-appropriate ways. Children enjoyed snacks, explored instruments, and experienced the joy of making music together while reinforcing these important life skills.
Nkadmbi, TDC’s Cameroon Program Coordinator, organized and facilitated the event with the support of six local educators who volunteered their time to help create a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for participating youth.
As a longtime advocate for childhood development, Nkadmbi believes music—especially drumming—provides children with valuable opportunities to strengthen coordination, creativity, self-confidence, and social connection. The program reflected Trust Drum Circles’ ongoing commitment to using rhythm and music as tools for education, community building, and personal growth.
