Illuminate – Les Artisans Du Champ (NEBA)

From Cameroon, Les Artisans Du Champ is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges ancestral memory with contemporary form. Trained in painting and printmaking, they craft layered visual narratives using synthetic polymer, gold leaf, newspaper, oil, charcoal, and even bioplastics made from corn amylum—materials that echo both tradition and transformation.

Currently at Cornell University for Fine Arts, he is a former engineering student turned full-time artist, and brings precision and soul to every canvas—each one a field where history, ritual, and resistance take root.
