Plantain Du Village – Loïc Ebah Art

Loïc’s art began with a ballpoint pen and a quiet determination. Raised in Cameroon, he turned early sketches into soulful portraits that carry the depth of lived experience. His work blends rhythm, memory, and culture—layer by layer, line by line. Though his early love for art met resistance at home, his talent couldn’t be contained. At just 10 years old, he was chosen for Le Crayon de Djino, a competitive drawing school in Cameroon backed by Les Brasseries du Cameroun and Irondel.

Loïc found his visual language—earning top honors two years in a row and planting the seeds for his professional journey. In 2012, he moved to Yaoundé to pursue art full-time and now exhibits internationally and shares his gift through workshops at Galerie d’Art AfroBantu. His work is both technical and deeply human—a celebration of identity, persistence, and artistic freedom.
