"Drumming with Trust Drum Circles makes me feel happy and connected. I’ve learned how to make music and be part of something special. It’s fun, and I feel proud when we all play together."

Our programs

The rhythm collective

The Rhythm Collective is a dynamic program that engages individuals in drumming, rhythm-making, and music in a supportive, creative environment. Open to all skill levels, it fosters teamwork, self-expression, and cultural exploration, with an emphasis on collective creativity over individual performance. The program promotes communication, cooperation, and active listening, helping build confidence, creativity, and emotional expression. Through group bonding and teamwork, it strengthens peer relationships and creates a sense of community.

Our Projects

Trust Drum Circles Network

Trust Drum Circles Network is a unique cultural platform that connects rural village drummers and drum makers with young adults in orphanages and refugee camps. It facilitates mentorship, helping participants learn valuable craft skills, build networking opportunities, and foster market connections for their art and handmade instruments. This project creates opportunities and vocational skills, while also supporting local economies and promoting sustainable income for participants.

1000 Drums project

The 1000 Drum Project is a powerful initiative with a simple yet impactful mission: to collect and distribute drums to children in foster care, orphanages, and underserved communities, providing them with access to instruments that enrich their lives. This project brings people together, fosters cultural exchange, and facilitates transformative drum circles for at-risk youth in Ohio, as well as orphanages in Cameroon, Kenya, and Tanzania.
